Extend A Life Initiative Uganda conducted a training to equip Health workers and Village Health Teams in Bembe parish. This was successfully done and the participants were updated with information on SRHR services, HIV Testing Services using the self-testing kits, Family planning methods, use of both male and female condoms, and information on breastfeeding of children.
This was intended to update child mothers and young women at risk plus the community at large with updated information to make good life choices of their bodies for a healthy and improved living. This was also to emphasize to the community people to avoid sexually Transmitted Diseases and prevent unwanted pregnancies and repetitive pregnancies among the girls and child mothers.
