EXTEND A LIFE INITIATIVE UGANDA IN PARTNERSHIP AND COLLABOLATION WITH DIFFERENT STAKEHOLDERS AND THE GFF PARTNERS IN ENDING CHILD MARRIAGES IN UGANDA.

The organisation attended a press conference in collaboration with other stakeholders and the GFF partners. This conference was organized by Center for Violence Prevention (CEDOVIP). The programs officer attended the event and together with other partners called for respecting of the children’s rights and pushed for the enacting of the Sexual Offences Bill so as to hold perpetuators of the child marriages and have them tried into courts of law for trial. This will grant justice and fight corruption in institutions were cases are reported. The conference was attended by media houses like Bukedde, NTV, NBS and others that advocated and amplified it so as to reduce on the cases of child marriages in Uganda.
